Wren Eagle Retreat is sustainably nestled among 31+ acres of native oak, hickory, maple, and and other native trees with views of hills, ridges, trees, and wildlife.
Easy Reservation
Everything is straightforward. You check the dates and decide when you want to come. I’ll send you an invoice and a short contract. Pay the invoice, sign the contract, and you’re finished. Simple!
Local Dining
Fine restaurants are nearby to meet almost any taste. Try some Paint Street favorites such as Fire & Stone Pizzeria (handmade pizza and salads) or Old Canal Smokehouse. There are other local and chain restaurants, also. Try one or a few and look at my suggestions under Dining.
Enjoy Quiet and Privacy
The quietude of Wren Eagle Retreat is only disturbed by the harmonies of the forest and the occasional sounds generated by others in the hollow. You can stay onsite and never see another person, or you can participate in small town life.
Art & Entertainment
Close to theater, galleries, handicrafts, music, drama, and movies. Who would have thought that you could be so remote, yet so close to the arts and entertainment of a city!
In the Best Locale
Remote, yet just minutes away from from big box stores and chain restaurants, as well as excellent local ones. You can disappear into the woods in no time, but you can also find a good cut of meat for the grill, purchase the one thing you forgot, or locate a unique gift.
Just You & Nature
Explore the surrounding flora and fauna. From mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, butterflies and moths, to lichens, forbs, and trees, you can relax and explore to your desired extent. Pick a quiet spot in the woods and sit on a downed tree trunk or laze on the deck. It’s your choice.
